screen-stretch accumulates?

blakesphere

Question

Think I found a bug.

I'm sorry if this has been reported previously. And maybe it has been corrected for the latest version.

Yesterday, while testing, I noticed following behaviour.

BTW: Premium edition version 3.1.18.

I had stretched the on-screen display a bit, boosting both the shadows and the highlights.

But when I clicked the flip L-R, flip U-D, and the rotate buttons, the image brightened. The stretch was obviously being applied again! Each time I clicked a transformation button, the image got brighter and brighter.

It was easy to fix or reinstate by clicking a different thumbnail and clicking back on the working image.

regards,
Blake

Quick update.

I tested the for the issue in 3.2.2 on a Dell laptop with Windows 10 64-bit and BYE 3.2.2.

I can recreate the problem.

  1. Loaded image in Image Center while in Preview mode.
  2. Applied a boost in the curves plan, to both shadows and highlights.
  3. Then clicked flip buttons and 180 button.
  4. After about 8 clicks, the preview image was white, blown out.

So, as of 3.2.2 the bug exists.
