    ADM Accessories:The ADM DVPA Dovetail Plate Adapter attaches to your rings or telescope and accepts either a standard Vixen-style V Series dovetail plate or the wider Losmandy-style D-Series dovetail plate.
    
    This heavy-duty dovetail plate adapter is black anodized with stainless steel components. It has one counter-bored hole centered on the plate and a second counter-bored hole .5" from the center. They both accept 1/4"-20 socket head screws. The spring-loaded clamping mechanism, along with a set of stainless steel guide pins, holds your dovetail firmly in place once you lock everything down with the large locking knob. It is easy to make adjustments to the position of the dovetail within the adapter...simply loosen up the lock knob a little and slide the dovetail forward or back, then lock the knob down again.  Fits D Series or V Series dovetail bars. Incorporates a split clamp design that grips the dovetail bar along the entire surface of the saddle and will not dent or scratch the dovetail bar.
