Difficulties in activation

I have downloaded and installed BYE in a Crossover for Mac Wine bottle. When I open Backyard EOS, which gives me an opening screen, it asks for my license key, which I copied from my accounts page on O'Telescope, and my user name, also the same as my login (see attached image, which has had most of the sensitive information deleted). When I enter this data, I get an 'Invalid Parameter' error message. Anything else I can do?

Thank you for not posting your key here as it is a public forum. You'd be surprised at how many people do.

Please download the latest from the pre-release download section, I made a change a few weeks ago that will possibly solve your issue.

When I tried to validate inside a Codeweaver 'bottle', it wouldn't work. When I did the same in Mac Parallels, it worked although I think that it might be too sluggish and the best bet for me may be to get a medium priced Windows laptop.

There is nothing special about the validation process, the request is a standard REST API call to the otelescope validation server over https. If this is unsuccessful, it most likely mean something is blocking this call, or its response.
