Whenever you start a new thread please tell us what model of camera you are using and what version of BYE.

The Duration droipdown is only for BULB exposures. It is grayed out when the Shutter selection is not BULB.

With BYE 3.2.2 and my T5i I put the camera in Manual mode (via the rotary dial on the camera). Then I use the BYE Capture Plan Center to specify the exposure parameters that I want.

Type = Flat (so BYE won't try to dither)
Aperture = This should be the same as what you used for your lights
ISO = This should be the same as what you used for your lights.

Then, select an exposure from the Shutter dropdown list and take the picture, examine the histogram, adjust the Shutter setting and take another picture. Repeat until I get the histogram where I want it to be.
