Short answer: It doesn't.

 

The f/stop is only added to the file name if it is available AND if it is specified as a filename component via the Setup screen.

 

If you are connected to a telescope, there is no f/stop so it won't be in the name.  If you are using a non-Canon lens where the f/stop setting is not available to the camera then it will not be added to the filename, even if specified in BYE's setup screen.
