Canon R EOS 10x Liveview video recording

I am able to record liveview video with both Canon EOS R and Ra at 5x, However when I use the 10x via the advanced experimental setting, It stays at 10x briefly before reverting to 5x.

Has anyone been successful at 10x recording? I dont get any errors in the error log.

You did not report which version of BYE you are using.

There have been issues with 5X and 10X with some of the mirrorless cameras. If I recall, the latest issue was a couple of months ago with an RP.

If I may ask, why do you want to use 10X? I would not recommend it for Planetary because it 5X is at the full sensor resolution and 10X  adds an additional digital zoom that reduces the quality.

I am using 3.2.2 the latest version, No I am going to try the 5x tonight I didn't know the 10x adds a digital zoom. But many thanks for the response this helps.
