Activation Key

My old activation Key does not work for the new 3.1.18 Premium Edition! I cannot unlock my updated BackyardEOS 3.1.18.  I had version 3.1.14 Premium since 2017 and it worked fine. What do you suggest?  Do I need a different activation key issued for this new version?  Do I need to buy the updated version?  Should I go back to the older 3.1.14 version?

Sorry, this is not possible for keys purchased after 2015.  Your key from 2017 is valid and I just tried it to confirm.

You do not need to purchase again, your same key is valid for any of the 3.1.x releases, including 3.2.0 pre-release.

What is the exact error message you get?  This is most likely an issue with Windows permission on a folder or perhaps your anti-virus preventing access to the registry keys.
