List of confirmed working Nikons

gbalstad

Question

Greetings,

I have a Nikon D3200 and I cannot find a single program that will allow me to control it properly for astrophotography. So, I am going to buy a different Nikon.

Can anyone confirm that BackyardNIKON is working perfectly for their camera?

Thanks so much in advance!

Gunnar

Unfortunately, this is a function of the camera itself, not software. The D3200 is a pretty basic camera that wasn't designed with this type of higher end functionality in mind. Hence the low price compared to other DSLRs. You're pretty much restricted to astrophotography using an external intervalometer to control your shooting.
