Dear Forum users,
Yesterday, after a long time of absence from this hobby, I tried reinstalling BYEOS which I purchased somewhere in 2012. The 18 line key I then received doesn't work. I also tried an upgrade key which I had received a few months after purchase but it also doesn't work. Finally, I logged into this website and into my purchased items list there is also a key. I tried that key together with my forum username but it also doesn't work. That's 3 different keys and 3 different error messages. The original key (for the old version 2) says: Can't find identifyable charactes (in Dutch, I don't know what it would say exactly in English but I translated as best as I could). The upgrade key to version 3 lite that I received somewhere in 2013 says upon entering in the activator: "extra non-parsable characters are placed behind the end of the line of characters" (again in Dutch, don't know the English version of this message but this is my translation). Finally, the key that is in my order purchase history on this website has been entered and prompts the following message: "Licence validation error! Trial version not valid. Please download the latest version of BackyardEOS."
That's three different messages. Did I download the wrong version? I downloaded the latest version (not RED, not Nikon, just BackyardEOS) that should include all versions in one, according to the website. I also tried contacting the support staff through the contact form but received an automatic reply saying I should ask in the forum instead.
What to do?
