Why is newest version causing errors in Windows Defender and Norton Antivirus?

I donwloaded the newest version 2.0.11 today and my antivirus programs made me select "ignore" on several files in order to install it, primarily .wav files.  Then, when I opened the new version, only the red version was an option.  Toggling to try to get the white version only gave the red version.  So next I downloaded the second download file for the new version, but same thing.  Next I downloaded my previous version, 2.0.9, and still all red.  Please advise.

It's very common for new versions to be flagged by anti-virus software, it's how they work.  The more download/install it gets the more feedback the anti-virus software gets, and overtime they learn and adapt.

As for the other issue.  Please uninstall and re-install in a separate folder.   Looks like a folder permission issue and this is the easiest way to get around this.
