filter wheel porblems

dts350z

Question

Just got a used Orion Nautilus 4x2" filter wheel.

In BYEOS, clicking on the filter number the wheel always goes to that number, however if I went directly from say 1 to 3, BYEOS RC04 displays 2 instead of 3. If I click 3 again the wheel doesn't move (it's already on 3) but BYEOS does update and show 3.

1-3, 3-1, 2-4, and 4-2 seem to be problematic, but all other combinations are fine.

One thing I should point out, on advice of the seller, I'm using a third party ASCOM driver vs. Orion's.

If I can I will test with Orion's and see if it makes a difference.

I'm not sure what other software I have that I can test with but I'll try to check that out as well.
