License Validation Error! License File Corrupted Error!

I get a popup windows that says: License Validation Error! License File Corrupted Error!"

I click ok, get a window asking for license data, copy and paste data, license key and identifier and get another error, need internet. i have internet and its working. I also have the latest release, which the error says to make sure I have.

Anyone have a solution, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm thinking I might need to edit registry.

I suspect that the license file c:/users/<<username>>/appdata/BackyardEOSv31-license.txt has been corrupted, or Windows security is preventing write access; it does that sometimes after some Windows update.  Deleting that file will force the user to reenter the software key and identifier and the file will be recreated.

The appdata folder is a hidden folder so you may have to set Windows to show hidden files/folders to see it.

It's for BackyardNikon, although I'll assume the details are the same, I do not see a folder "appdata" under the path listed but found it in a search. I deleted the txt file and all is working now. Thanks!!!
