Sequence of Photos Hangs after First Image

Dylanre90

Question

I just downloaded version 3.1.17 and connected a Canon 200D/SL2 with no issues. When taking more than one image the application locks up after the first image and gives a busy status no matter what. I am unable to suspend, abort, or anything else and have to exit the program or turn off the camera. I have image review off and I'm disabling high ISO noise reduction in camera. I have tried adding a pause between the shots, but then the application hangs on "pausing" and I have to turn off the camera.

Is there something I'm missing?

The download folder (Backyard EOS) and BackyardTEMP folder both exist on C drive with unrestricted access. I was trying to save to camera only since it doesn't take quite as long so I'm not sure if this would impact anything.

I just reinstalled all Canon SL2 drivers and utilities just in case, but still no luck. I also tried another USB cable. It might be worth noting that my Canon 6D works with no issues.
