Changing shutter speed by hotkey?

KlausS

Question

Hello,

The next lunar eclipse is coming.

I want to capture a large number of images for a time lapse video with breaks of 3 or 4 seconds between them.
Is it in any way possible to set the shutter speed during the session without
aborting or suspending? Maybe by hotkey?
Unfortunately while the session is running the area for setting speed or ISO is blended out.

I want to set the shutter speed depending on the light conditions so I cannot use different
exposure series. The exact time is not predictable. Suspending and aborting will lead to undefined
breaks.

Thanks in advance.
Klaus

While the exposure plan is active or paused the data is not changeable, but there are plenty of rows available in the capture plan so you can put each different exposure in the sequence on a different row. The number of rows was expanded last year for the August 2017 eclipse.
