BYE shutting down

iborg

Question

Hi

I used the same software, computer and camera to take over 240 images of the recent lunar eclipse, all worked well.

However, I am now trying take some shots of Crux.

Camera seems to connect promptly.

When I switch to live view, it takes a long time (~30sec), and then does not actually show the live view.

Nor does it show the cross hair or box on screen.

I can use snap image to get an image, then the box and cross hair appear. But then the program tries to shut down.

Note that I have disabled the weather provider (blank), but, the program still seems to be looking for it.  From the log file "Sending Task 'ReadWeatherCenter' to server for processing"

I have attached a log file, and information from in the details part of the error window.

I would greatly appreciate any help you are able to provide.

Philip

Philip,

According to the log file that you attached, you are using BYE 3.1.6 and the latest release is 3.1.16. I believe that the out of memory error in Frame and Focus that is being logged was fixed 7 months ago with the release of BYE 3.1.13. You should upgrade to 3.1.16.

Please let the community know if this fixes the issue.
