Problem with Canon 1000D

Hi I just bought an old 1000D in the hope that it would work with BEOS better than with my poor old 350D. Guess what, everything works but I can't get any image, as long as I start capture it beeps two times and says: Imaging session cancelled 

 

21:34:05  Attempting to connect camera...

21:34:05  Canon drivers 'Canon\' initialized.

21:34:07  Shutter counter = 56966

21:34:07  Canon EOS 1000D CONNECTED!

21:34:10  Imaging session cancelled

 

and that's all. camera is normally working, in M mode, Bulb setting, no Mirror lockup or other special setting.

 

Oddly, live capture works.APT works perfect, too.

 

I can assist you with debugging I guess, I'm a programmer.

That log output is not as verbose as the logs in ...\BackyardTEMP\Logs. You might want to look for "error" in the log files.

Send me the full log files.  They are in "My Pictures\BackyardTEMP\logs"

Well, it was my laptop having C:\ drive almost full (it's very old and it always lacks space...)

Yeah I would say that a feature request would be that any error in the log file be exposed in the "log" in the UI.
