Question

Dear Guylain and others on the forum.  I purchased BYE premium in March 2014 (I have the key saved in an email and printed). Now I am reinstalling it after a long time not doing AP. It seems that the new version of BYE will not accept my license key (could this be due to the change stated in the new version of a license server?). Previously, I remember that the complete key needed to be entered into a large text field. Now, I see that my license key needs to be separated into character strings of 5 characters. As such, I cannot validate my premium version purchase. Advice?  Any help would be appreciated.

Grant,

Yes, as you have figured out, the license key scheme changed with the release of BYE 3.1. The bad news is that you must follow a simple process to convert your old key into a new key. The good news is that now Guiylain will keep your key for you so you don't have to keep a hardcopy of your key after you receive it. It is always available to you on this web site once you have logged in.

The process starts with you going to Upgrade tab of the BYE Product page in the Store section of the web site. There you can find the instructions for how to accomplish the free upgrade.

Next time you post, please provide a topic for your post that describes your issue. Something like "License Upgrade Question" would be more meaningful for someone looking at the list of topics than your username.

Thanks!
