Transfer BYE from crashed computer to new one quickly?

Dirty Harris

Question

Dear Guylain, or anyone in the forum. I know this has been asked and answered at some point in the past, and I did look back over several weeks, but couldn't find anything specific to my problem. So here is the question/problem, I've owned BYE (Classic Version) since 2014, current up-grade to 3.1.9 on a H/P pavilion laptop. The computer has been acting a bit funky lately as if it could crash anytime. And with the luck I have, it will probably happen the morning of the eclipse when I need it most. Question, how much of an act of congress (that's USA congress), does it take to transfer BYE from a crashed computer to a new one, and how quickly can it be done? And what are the specific steps to take to accomplish the task? Please keep in mind I am so-so on a computer not a tech by any means, and would need some PHD (push here dummy) instructions. Thanks up-front, clear skies, Dirty Harris Colo. USA.

Just download and install on a new computer, use the same key :)

Your key is stored online.  Click on "My Purchases -> Orders" form the website main menu bar at the top and your key and identifier are there :)

Thanks Guylain, I thought it might be that simple but had forgotten just what the procedure was. Its very much like up-grading to a newer version of BYE. Thanks again too for supplying a really great capturing/imaging system for this terrific hobby. Clear skies and regards, Dirty Harris Colo. USA.
