3.1.11 mount and focuser connections when not selected

Question

I apologize if this has been asked before but i am running into what is really more of an annoyance than a real issue although its pretty annoying.

When i launch BYE, if i haven't connected my scope and focuser to whatever i want to use them with, i cannot once BYE is running. This is true even if they aren't connected in BYE and even if they aren't selected in BYE (choosing sims for instance), On the mount driver i have to bring up its driver interface for it to work at all and if BYE is running it simply tells me no mounts are found, I then can close BYE and open the driver without issues, then run BYE without issues. Same goes for the focuser (Moonlight).

Also, to add, this isn't just in 3.1.11, i have sen this in previous versions with the focuser.

Is there a way to stop this behavior?

thanks,

Try 3.1.12 pre-release in the download section.  I introduced a bug when I implemented the MBox support a while back and this caused BYE to scan and open most COM ports and thus placing a lock on it.
