While a hydrogen alpha scope is probably not what you want to use to image the eclipse, you can certainly use your DSLR to image the sun. Of course you could use the Ha scope to image the eclipse before second contact and after third contact. I might be successful as a second eclipse scope. Typical imaging between 2nd and 3rd contact is done with an unfiltered scope.

It will work, as long as you can connect everything together. That may mean that you need a inch-and-a-quarter T adapter to fit into the Lunt's blocking filter.
