License Key Rejected For Coupon Code

Hi -  please help me resolve a problem I am having with upgrading from BYEOS v3.0.3 purchased in 2013.   My understanding is that the upgrade is free but requires checkout with a coupon code tied to a valid license.

When I enter my valid 29 char license key (first line) as a coupon code, it is rejected as invalid at checkout for latest version 3.1.11 download.

I purchased and installed v3.0.3 in 2013 with a valid license.
