Frame & Focus Button not responsive

bjaffa

Question

I am having an issues when I try to select Frame & Focus mode.

BackYardEOS version 3.1.9 (or 8) does seem to select the mode.

It use to work with an 3.0.x version. I have a canon 3ti.

Sometimes it will quickly change to Frame & Focus mode (using mouse) but then

switch back to Imaging mode. So I am unable to focus my setup.

Thanks for any help.

You are correct, I did have live view disabled on the camera.

I did not think to check the camera. I did not know it prevented me

from getting into the frame focus mode. But it makes sense.

Thank you for your help on my stupid mistake.

Thank you very much!!!!!!! :) ,

Brent

Thanks for the log file.

Looks like you have disabled Live View on your camera.

To confirm this, disconnect the camera from the computer and try to activate live from using the camera menu/buttons only.
