The API documentation is available for download from the O'Telescope web site. I have found the document to be complete.

 

The only reliable way that I know of for an external application to get the sensor temperature is to take a picture and use an application like EXIFTOOL to read it from the metadata in the image. Another method would be to parse the sensor temperature from the file name, but I do not consider this to be reliable since the file name template is easily changeable by the user.
