Using planetary 5x zoom and iso settings?

gmonster2

Question

I did an imaging session of the ISS in planetary mode barlow *2 but without the 5x zoom the iso was 800 and shutter 1/800. For the next pass I want to use the 5x zoom as well as the barlow 2X wondering if I need to change settings or shoot at same iso shutter speed? Thoughts?

thanks guys.

When in LiveView (for Frame & Focus and Planetary) the ISO and shutter control the brightness, they do not change the frame rate. 5X zoom changes the resolution, independent of the brightness, so I would not change them. If anything, I would take an image that is too dark and stretch it in post processing than to take one that is too bright initially.
