USB software

Question

Guylain,

While working on another hobby of mine, Model Railroading (too many hobbies, not enough time), I stumbled upon an interesting piece of freeware that could be useful in digital AP.

What it does is give a real quick and easy method to see what USB ports have and are under current use.  With all of the stuff I've plugged into my laptop, I was amazed.  I figure it may help folks with diagnosing those pesky USB issues (2.0 vs 3.0, is it working, etc.)

I just saw this post and am a little late to the party.  Nirsoft provides a number of niche tools we use in digital forensics.  His small programs are excellent.  http://www.nirsoft.net/
