EOS Rebel T6 (1300D) Not connecting to Backyard EOS 3.1.8

KYShop713

Question

I have installed BEOS 3.1.8 on my Windows 10 Pro laptop.

I removed completely all of the modules installed in the Canon EOS Utilities and rebooted.

When I try to connect my Rebel T6 to the software, I get:

    CONNECTION PROBLEMS?
    1) Make sure EOS Utility is not running.
    2) Make sure the camera is turned on and the battery is fully charged.
    3) If you are trying to connect a DIGIC II camera model such as the 5D, 20D, 20Da, 30D, or 350D make sure your are running Windows 32 bits.            These models do not work on Windows 64 bits.
    4) If you are using a USB hub, remove it, connect the camera directly in a USB port on your computer and try again.
If you are still having issues please visit our support forum at http://forum.otelescope.com and open a support ticket.

I have done everything suggested in the above error screen. Any help for this?

TIA
Ken

I do not, Canon holds the bigger end of the stick here :(

However, it should be soon based on past history. This camera was released about 4 to 6 months ago and the SDK should be available in the 2017-Q1.... fingers crossed.
