USB cable not working with D90

The D3200 is not supported in BackyardNIKON.  Nikon does not have an SDK this model.

 

The D90 is supported.  These serial cable are for bulb only, you still need to use the regular USB cable for everything else.  Was the USB cable plugged in as well?  Or did you just use the serial cable you built?

Oh, the reason it works with DSLR Shutter is because DSLR shutter does not establish an actual connection to the camera, it simply sends the an open/slose shutter command via the serial cable.

 

Hope this makes sense.
