D750 Cable Question

Question

Hi,

I have the trial working using the USB cable that came with the camera but this is too short to be of practical use and I need a longer cable - perhaps 10 ft.

Any thoughts on the best way to achieve this, can I just buy a USB Male-Female extension lead off Amazon or, preferably, does anyone know what the cable is called so I can find a longer version?

Hi

I just bought a standard USB extension cord (male/female connections) and use Nikon's cable that came with the camera. Works like a dream although mine is not quite that long.

Good luck.

Helge.

I have never had an issue with just using any random USB cable of that length with any of my devices.

I will say that the D750 camera is not in the compatilibity list.

I would try buying a regular USB extension cable to use to extend the cable that came with your camera. Something like this should work just fine:
