Question

Hi,
I've tried every way to connect my Nikon D5100 (modded) to BYN but it always fails. Unlike my D600, which connects promptly.
I'm using the DSUSB cable which seems to be fine with the "DSUSB Check" program: The LED on/LED off buttons work, LED Green/LED Red work, and the camera shutter opens when "AssertAF/wakeup" is actuated. So this means the cables are fine, I think.
Still, it never succeds to connetct to BYN. I've tried with both 1.04 and 1.05 versions of the program and with the camera's original and updated firmwares. I'm using an empty, formated SD card, full load battery, tried different GPS settings as someone wrote elsewhere on this forum, but no, no way!!!
Could it be something wrong with the camera? Maybe not as it works fine with the "DSUSB Check". If I can't solve this thing, the option is to buy a D5200 and send it for modiffication which is a cost I could avoid.
What else can I try... any ideas?
