Software activation

Question

I am considering purchasing BackyardEOS for use with my Canon EOS 60D camera and 6 inch Celestron NexStar SE.  However, the computer I use at my telescope does not have internet access and I can't connect it to the internet.  From what I have read in previous posts, activation of the software requires internet access.  Is there a way I can activate the software without internet access?

In regards to the activation of the trial licenses. It is stated that at start up the license has to have access to the internet to allow use of the trial software.  I will be in an area the last week of April and first week of May with poor to no internet connection where my scopes will be set up.  But there will be internet up at the front office that I can access.   Can I activate your trial software where I know internet will be available and then move back to where my observing site will be located  and where I do not have internet access or do I have to maintain internet connection to be able to use your software?

Also,  do I have to have my camera(s) connected to the computer when I launch the free trial software when connected to the internet for  your software to initialize.  Or it is plug and play capable?

Thank you.
regards

Karl
