Any news on the firmware updates yet?

Just wondering if Nikon have sorted the firmware update problems regarding BYN yet please?.

I`ll keep clear of the updates until I hear they`re ok!

Mmmm! . Nikon are not exactly encouraging firmware updates are they!!.

Keeping my dslr firmware as is for now. The old saying " if it aint broke ......."

Sorry Peje just noticed your reply, haven`t received an email but I`m happy to give 1.0.5 a try!.

BTW I keep getting emails from Nikon suggesting I update the firmware for my D5500, how are things looking with BYN  and these updates presently?.

Anyone who whats to try BYN 1.0.5 with the Nikon updated SDK send me an email to support@otelescope.com and I'll send you a download link.  So some I have 2 confirmation that the new SDK has resolve the connection issues dur to firmware upgrade.

 

I'm waiting to get a solid 4 to 6 confirmation that it works before releasing it.

I have just released BackyardNIKON 1.0.5 which contains new Nikon SDK for all camera models since the D90.
