I'm using Backyard Nikon 2.1.3 Premium Edition with a Nikon D810A camera. The computer is a mini Kingdel running Windows 11. I've been working with a similar setup for many years, but I just replaced the Kingdel with a slightly newer model, and I'm getting it up and running. The problem I am having--and I want to emphasize that I'm not blaming this on the Backyard Nikon software--is that the process of queueing and downloading these images is slower for some reason. It probably won't be a problem on my deep sky sessions where I shoot for 300 seconds each and leave a four-second delay in between. But I used to be able to take images of the moon 30 at a time, maybe 1/200th of a second each, and I didn't have to set any delay in between. Now if I do that, the image session will say it completed successfully, but I have fewer images saved in the folder than I asked it to take. Yesterday I tried a six-second delay in between the very short exposures, and I did get all my images. I've tried obvious things like rebooting the computer in case there's something running in the background. And yes, I have plenty of room on my hard drive. As I say, I'm not blaming this on the Backyard Nikon, but if anybody has suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.
