Hello,
I'm wondering if it's possible to use the Canon R50 with Backyard EOS? It's recognizing the model but not connecting. I noticed earlier this year someone in the support forum was able to get their R50 working with a bit of software, but that software link isn't working any longer.
This is the log info we are getting:
17:35:22 BackyardEOS 3.2.3 Classic Edition
17:35:30 Attempting to connect camera...
17:35:30 Canon drivers 'Canon\' initialized.
17:35:30 DEVICEINFO DESCRIPTION IS Canon EOS R50
17:35:30 DEVICEINFO NUMBER IS 2971957947.
17:35:30 YOUR *REAL* MODEL NUMBER IS 2147484800(80000480)
17:35:30 YOUR camera is not currently supported by the Canon SDK available at the time of this software release.
17:35:30 Camera Not Found! Make sure it's connected to the PC and turned ON
Thank you

Thank you! I'm impressed that you have admin support on duty through the holidays. I'm helping my 13 year old with his passion for astrophotography and we are a big fan of Backyard EOS. We will follow
