Nikon D7500 not working

gwzap

Question

So This past Friday, I tried using the D7500 with BYNikon and never could get it to function properly.  I had it connected to my telescope to image the sun.  I've used BYEOS for years with no issues.  However, with the Nikon...shutter speed changes would not affect what I was seeing via live view.  I was hoping to use the Nikon for both the 14 Oct 2023 annular eclipse and the Apr 2023 Eclipse.  I also wanted to use the camera on the moon.  But I need to understand why it isn't working with BYNikon, or the camera/software is a bust, forcing me to use some other camera and combination.  I still have my Cannon.
