Licence Key Problems

petergoodhew

Question

Having installed Backyard EOS 3.1.5 I am asked to enter my licence key.

My key consists of one line of 5 groups of 5 characters separated by -. However BYEOS expects 6 groups of 5 characters, and so I get Key Length Invalid errors.  If I add the 5 characters from Line 2 of the key, I get "additional non-parsable characters are at the end of the string".

If I put in all 6 lines of the key I get the same message.  What am I doing wrong?!

I suspect what you consider your key it is not it.  It is most likely your email you received to activate your account on the web site.  It has nothing to do with you purchase or software activation key.

ALL KEYS FOR 3.1.X are stored on line in your client area (see link in upper right corner of this website).  If you don't have a key in your client area it is because you did not purchase (or upgraded) to 3.1.x.  If this is an upgrade please follow the instructions on the upgrade page.

Regards,
