I downloaded the trial version, used the key you provided, \I just keep getting an error message saying and internet connection is needed to activate, and make sure firewall is allowing access to server.  I have internet access, and |I turned off my windows firewall, not difference!

What version on Windows do you have? You need TLS 1.2 and some older Windows 8.x may not have it installed by default.

Also, your antivirus may be blocking the connection.
