Can you provide more details about what you have done, and what you are seeing?

What version of Windows? What version of BYE (please provide the full version number with all three parts like 3.2.2)?

In the future, if your question/issue is about BYE, please post to the Backyard EOS Forum. This is where Canon owners go for help with BYE.

Does Windows recognize the camera when you plug it into the PC and power it on? If so, it should show up in the Windows Device Manager. If not, there is no way that BYE will be able to connect. Also, BYE will not be able to connect to the camera if any other software is already connected. Finally, if Windows does recognize that the camera is now connected to Windows, it will ask what you want to do. The correct answer is "Take No Action".

Windows is not recognizing the camera. How do I make this happen?
