Question

Hi I ham trying to login with my product key and having problems I’ve sent you my product key before which I shouldn’t have done have you blocked my product key from logging in ? My camera is a canon eos 250d ( ed-s 18-55 is kit ) my telescope is a Meade lx90 8” my laptop is ASUs f15 tuf can let me know has soon a possible thanks

I am not sure that I understand what you are trying to do or what you expect.

First, this is a public, community-supported forum. Many of those who post here are users of BYE and BYN, as you are. Guylain is the only exception as he is an owner of O'Telescope and the principal developer of BYE and BYN. Whatever you post here is seen publicly by all those who belong here. Also, posts may be automatically forwarded to members' email accounts. This means that there is no way to "take back" whatever is posted to the forums.

If you published your license key on this forum, it is likely that Guylain revoked the license key to keep others who may have seen it from using it. This is likely a permanent action.

Next, the term "product key" is incorrect. It is a "license key" since it is the license that proves that you paid for the right to use BYE and it is used by the software to activate the features that you paid for. It is not used to log you onto this web site. That is only your username and password. Since you posted the previous message, it appears that you are logged onto the site.

If your previous license key was revoked but you still want to use BYE then you may have to purchase a new key. If so, it is your own fault for ignoring the warning in the big red banner at the top of this page when you publicly disclosed your previous license key to the world.

If you purchase a new license key, you need to keep it private and safeguard it from accidental exposure. In many ways you need to keep your BYE license key more private than you do your Social Security number (if your are American) or your bank account number. Nobody else needs to see your BYE license key and you should treat it that way.

You need to purchase a license key from the O'Telescope Store.

If you already purchased a key, you should be able to see it by selecting My Purchases -> Orders from the horizontal menu bar at the top of this page. The Orders screen displays all the valid and expired license keys that you got from the Store.
