Connect Nikon D7000

Question

I connected  my Nikon D7000  and after a couple of pictures the system locked up.  I had to shut my computer down to regain functin and now i  cannot get my camera to connect again even though it is recognized by the pc.  Any elp would be appreciated

I have a similar issue with my D7000.  What I've found is that the camera won't connect reliably when it's in Manual mode.  But it does connect fine when in Program mode.  So what I'm doing now is setting mode to "P", connect, then set mode to "M".

 

See if that solves your problem.

Looks like the SDK is not initializing properly.

 

Remove the SD card and try again.  If you have multiple images on the card it can take a few minutes for the SDK to build an index or all images on the card.

 

Try removing the battery for a few minutes, reboot the computer, put the battery back in and try again.
