Long string of "Parameter is not valid" in camera log

RonG

Question

Hi,

I am running BYE with a Canon 50D attached through a USB cable.

The program starts fine, and the camera is found and connected.

I next click on the "focus" button, and at this point the camera log starts filling up with the message "parameter is not valid".  Once that happens, nothing else works.

I am testing indoors right now, and have my 50D with an EFS 18-55mm lens attached.

I am a new user and assume that I'm doing something wrong, and I'd sure appreciate some assistance.

Thanks and have a good day.

Ron

It does not necessarily mean anything if the app runs fine.  Sometimes the SDK fails and throws an error and usually will recover gracefully with no negative impact.

Keeps us posted if you see something not normal and I will investigate.

Regards,
