Confused with AV-FLAT setting

Jerry_K

Question

I need little clarification regarding AV-FLAT setting. I wanted to test my new EL panel using BYE to shoot flats. In regular imaging the shortest speed is 1". However, when I select AV-FLAT I get error sound and nothing is snapped. What am I missing and why is it as a selection if I can't use it? Is there way to shoot flats using BYE? Best histogram is at 1/15 @1600 ISO.

Never mind, I got it figured out. All I had to do is forget about AV-FLAT settings (why is it there?) and just enter shutter speed and it works like a charm. What a great stuff this EV panel is and why did I wait so long?
