  1. Thank you for confirming that the T3i should connect with EOS Utility 3.9 on Windows 10. I will keep trying.
  2. I tried to install EOS Utility 2.14.20a but it didn't work because it appears to be an "updater" and I don't have a EOS Utility CD. I then downloaded EOS Utility 3.90 for Windows (I was able to install) but still no luck getting the camera to connect. I then installed EOS Utility 2.14.20a updater and still no luck. I called Canon back and they said that my camera 3Ti is not compatible with the Windows 10 version of EOS Utility and I would either need to upgrade my camera or downgrade my operating system to Windows 7 or 8 I appreciate everyone's help but I think I will give up trying to connect my camera to Backyard EOS and live with processing images off of the SD card (my PC does recognize the card at least).
  3. Thank you Rick, I will try installing EOS Utility 2.14.20a and go from there.
  4. I installed a version of EOS Utility that I found online but had no luck connecting to this program either. I called canon and they said T3i is too old to work with EOS utility. I uninstalled EOS Utility and just tried to get Windows 10 to recognize the camera. Although I see it under settings/devices ("Canon Digital Camera") it does not show up in File Explorer. I'm having trouble ruling out what is causing my problem but I don't think Windows 10 is recognizing my 3Ti.
  5. Thank you RIck for your response. Unfortunately I never saw a message box when I connected to the computer. I went to settings/devices and I see an icon that says "Canon Digital Camera". I removed this device and tried connecting again and saw no dialog box (just "Canon Digital Camera" when I go to devices under settings.
  6. I installed trial version of Backyard Eos and am unable to connect my Canon EOS 3Ti. I upgraded the firmware on a new SD card and purchased a USB cable. The camera is recognized by Windows 10 when connected by the USB cable but I get the "mosquito zap" error in BYE when I attempt to connect. Any assistance is appreciated. I was excited to use BYE with my 3Ti but I've hit a roadblock and cannot use. Thank you.
