Question

I mentioned this in the topic on maximum delay time. The idea is to have Backyard* (EOS, NIKON etc) accept a command line argument which would allow a capture plan filename to be specified. The capture plan would then automatically be run on startup.
What would be the purpose of thus? Well, in the topic the OP wanted to delay running a DARKS plan until 03:00 in order to take advantage of the lower ambient temperature. At present, this means starting Backyard* and specifying a long delay.
Being able to specify a capture plan filename on the command line would enable a batch file (or powershell script) to be created which could then be defined as a scheduled task.
(Presumably in these situations the camera would be supplied via an adapter rather than a battery)
