As dust is so ubiquitous, it is almost impossible to completely eliminate it from the telescope optics. But you should not let the dust reach your lens between observation sessions. Proudly manufactured in the US, the Astrozap dustproof material consists of a blend of cotton and nylon. A stitched elastic strap allows this dust to fit snugly to the open end of a Newtonian telescope, protecting the primary and secondary mirrors from dust accumulation for sharper images.
