DSLR Buddy is a small device designed for astrophotographers to provide constant power supply to DSLR cameras. It also can power up a heater by varying the duty cycle of the DC voltage (PWM control). It is the definitely perfect buddy for your DSLR in the mountains or in any astrophotographic field.
With this dummy battery and the built in Dew Heater Output nothing can stop your camera working for the whole night long! A unique product for timelapses and astro-photography (deep sky, star trails, etc).
Constant Power Supply to DSLR Camera
Plug the dummy battery to your DSLR and forget to replace the battery every time it drains of power. Connect a 9- 15V power supply to the DSLR buddy and power on your camera with stable and constant voltage for the whole night long!
Built in Single Channel RCA Dew Heater Output
DSL Buddy has a built in Pulse Width Modulation duty cycle control output for Dew Heater or Flatbox. Able to provide more than 5A of current to your heaters.  . Get rid of the moisture on your lens which can ruin your night!
Wide range of Battery Couplers
Bundle the DSLRBuddy with a battery coupler for your Sony, Fuji and Canon DSLR / Mirrorless model. Check the “Battery Couplers” tab for more information regarding the battery models.
Simple rotary knob control
You can manually dim the output using the knob on the top of the DSLR Buddy
A red light (PWM duty cycle indicator) change its brightness when you adjust the dew knob.
Reverse Polarity Protection
The device is designed to be protected from reverse voltage polarity. No worries if you accidentally reverse connect your power source.
