MGBoxV2 Meteostation MGBox V2 is an evolution of the original MGBox [MCH-MGBOXV2]

MCH: MGBox V2 is an evolution of the original MGBox. Improovements are based on customer feedback as well as our own findings.
These include, but are not limited to:
ATMega2560V Processor for increased resources, driven by an external 8Mhz resonator
Red LED’s instead of green ones
Make use of 1PPS signal from GPS in the 10Micron specific firmware for increased time sync accuracy
Rebootable GPS-Module
etc…
Just like the original MGBox, it can be used stand alone using just a USB-Cable that is connected to your computer providing environmental and GPS information. The optional Ascom local server driver makes this information also available to other applications (thru the Ascom Observing Conditions specification). Optionally and additionally, it can be plugged straight into the computer of your 10Micron mount if you are the lucky owner of one.
