Explore Scientific: The Explore Scientific EXOS-2GT Equatorial Computerized Mount comes with a battery pack that holds eight D-cell batteries. While this is a nice back-up, we recommend you normally run the mount from a DC power source such as your car battery via its cigarette lighter, or a portable 12V DC Power Supply of your choosing (sold separately). This DC Adapter Cable will connect the Explore EXOS-2GT mount to either of these DC power sources.
