My friend and mentor who uses Backyard EOS came over last night to help me with BYN v:2.0 on Windows 10 I have MacBook Pro 15" (Late 2016) with 16 GHz memory and 1TB SSD. MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 running Parallels 14.1.0 (45387) Nikon D750 later version firmware: C 1.10 L 2.015 I'm using Nikon USB cable. I've purchased the Pro version of BYN Problem 1: Camera refocuses after we either focus manually or with Frame & Focus in BYN. We focus the camera, take a test shot with Imaging & Preview and the lens is no longer focused. Problem 2: BYN would lock up when we took a small set of sample images, the progress wheel just kept spinning until it failed. Dave Carpenter, Colorado Springs, CO firstname.lastname@example.org
Hello. I am unable to connect to my Nikon D300 running Parallels on my MacBook. It works using Lightroom on the Mac side and shows up in the Windows device manager (see attached). Know issue? Any suggestions? Or do I have to accelerate my plans to get a cheap Win10 laptop for asto purposes? Thanks!
Hi, I downloaded a trial of BYN to use with my D750 on Parallels virtual machine (Windows XP SP2). I have Digicamcontrol working fine with my camera, but with BYN like with my old D90 is impossible to make it recognize my camera. I thought my D90 was the problem, but now with my new D750 is the same problem. I had same problem with Beta, it sounded like you were going to test it and make it work on virtual machines like Digicamcontrol does (I know you use a different way to connect to the camera), but it doesn't work even now on final version of BYN. Any chance you'll get this sorted out in the future?
