The Officina Stellare Veloce RH 200AT has 200 mm of clear aperture, and an incredible ultra fast, wide field, F/3 focal ratio with 600mm focal length. Large front full aperture corrector lens and near zero expansion, BK7 optical glass primary and secondary mirror.. The Officina Stellare Veloce RH 200AT includes the upgraded OTA assembly, carbon-fiber dew shield, a losmandy dovetail plate with tip/tilt adjustment, and a flat plate on top for mounting accessories. The Officina Stellare Veloce RH 200AT Riccardi-Honders Astrograph is a premier, innovative, Officina Stellare exclusive! Just check out the primary Mangin mirror optical design, large front full aperture corrector lens and near zero expansion BK7 optical glass for the primary and secondary mirror. It even has two spaced elements for the rear group. We're talking about 200 mm of clear aperture, and an incredible ultra fast, wide field with an F/3 focal ratio and 600mm focal length. Add to that a flat 60 mm diameter field, with 6 micron maximum star spot size. 
The "AT" model of the Veloce RH 200 has an upgraded full athermal assembly for research-grade applications. Because of the improved thermal stability, the RH 200AT will require less focus adjustments due to temperature changes during the night. The retractable light shield is made of carbon fiber to complement the look and functionality of this superb telescope.  Great care is taken in the making of the rear holding cell of the primary mirror. The entire rear cell for the primary mirror is figured to have the best rigidity/weight ratio and for the fastest possible thermal stabilization between the environment and mirror.  Great attention has been applied to simplify the collimation between the mirrors resulting in a stable, efficient but easy to use system. The collimation is accomplished by acting on just three points (the minimum required points to generate a single plane) using a special, great diameter preloaded bolts (one for each point). This results in a single hand use, simply turn the bolt left or right to move the mirror back and forth (no more complicated operations using push pull screws and locks) in a very intuitive way. Finding the correct positions is a snap. The mirror borders uses an opaque, circular mask to avoid any undesired light scattering. The light shields for the primary and secondary mirrors are computer designed and optimized to ensure complete illumination of the field still maintaining a complete protection from stray light. Inside the light shields there are also micro baffles that reduces, coupled with an opaque painting of the surfaces, to nearly zero any possible parasite stray light. In some cases and for particular applications, the light shield for the secondary mirror is made using a special layout that maintain the efficiency of the system while reducing the obstruction for the system. The back plate of our telescopes comes standard with a system for adjusting the planarity of the focal plane in order to compensate for any small misalignment in the imaging train, always unwanted and annoying especially on today’s large CCD cameras. PLEASE NOTE: There is a small mark on the dew shield and this is why the telescope is hugely discounted. The mark in not on the telescope part, only the dew shield, see last image.
