ZWO Optical: ASI120S is a super speed and sensitive USB3.0 camera. Up to 60FPS under 1280X960 full resolution. With a peak QE of 75%, beyond ICX618 and with no FPN (Fixed pattern Noise). Long time exposure supported up to 1000s. Full compatible with USB 2.0 USB Host.
The monochrome sensor of the ZWO ASI 120MM-S camera has 1.2 million pixels (1280 x 960 pixels) for use in planetary imaging and autoguiding.
In planetary mode, its resolution reaches the rate of 60 frames / second at a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels.
This acquisition speed can be pushed to 133 fps when used in lower resolution mode (640 x 480 pixels).
For autoguiding, the camera is equipped with a standard ST4 port, adaptable to a very large number of commercial frames.
The 120MM-S UPS has a female M42 input thread, but a mechanical M42 converter to the 31.75mm and 50.8mm male connectors is supplied with the camera to fit into the eyepieces Standards of telescopes and glasses of the market.
A 2m long USB cable and a ST4 autopilot cord are also part of the package.
ZWO also offers a fish-eye lens with a focal length of 2.1 mm, enabling meteors to be captured when systematically monitoring the sky in a very large field.
